Some thermostats may also control a heater and as a result will have three terminals.
Bryant furnace fan not working.
Start by turning the furnace off turn your thermostat to fan only and wait a few minutes.
Try turning the fan to on using the fan switch on the thermostat to test for power to furnace.
Your furnace blower fan not starting can have a few causes as you see here.
Shop by bryant furnace parts.
Check the circuit breakers at the electrical panel.
Tie the red and white wires together and switch the power on.
If the compressor is running but the fan motor is not running the fan motor or the fan motor capacitor are likely at fault.
Check to ensure the furnace filter isn t in need of replacement.
Now put your furnace s blower fan to the test.
A sequencer looks like the picture below.
Does not have continuity replace it.
If the fan does not start you have a wiring issue circuit breaker trips or motor problem circuit breaker does not trip.
If the furnace starts the problem is either with the thermostat wire or thermostat.

Sequencers are used most of the time in air handlers heat pumps electric furnaces to control the fan blower and turn on the electric heaters in a sequence so the electric heaters to do come on all at the same time.
If both the compressor and the fan motor won t run use a multimeter to test the temperature control thermostat for continuity.
Turn the power to the furnace off and disconnect the wires from the thermostat.
If you see or hear the fan turn on your blower motor is not the culprit.
Replace the wire or thermostat to fix the problem.
